Mirr Marketing Consent Notice

This notice explains the consent that Patty Co., Ltd. (the "Company") obtains in order to send commercial advertising information to users of Mirr.

Consent to receive advertising is optional. Declining does not restrict any feature of Mirr.

This English text is a reference translation of the Korean original. If the two versions differ in meaning, the Korean version governs.

Article 1. Sender

Article 2. What Consent Covers

The Company obtains consent separately for each purpose. A user may select only the items they want, and consenting to one item is not treated as consent to another.

Night-time consent is obtained separately as required by Article 50(3) of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. Without it, the Company does not send advertising between 21:00 and 08:00.

Article 3. Channel

Advertising is sent to the email address registered on the user's account.

The Company does not currently send advertising by SMS, telephone or app push notification. If another channel is used in future, the Company will obtain the consent that applicable law requires.

Article 4. Personal Data Processed

The following is processed in order to send advertising.

• Email address
• Display name
• Whether consent was given, and the dates of consent and withdrawal

Email delivery is entrusted to Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend, United States), and the email address and recipient name are transferred overseas in that process. Details are in the entrustment and overseas transfer sections of the Privacy Policy.

Article 5. Withdrawing Consent

A user may withdraw consent at any time.

1. Clear the item on the account page in Mirr
2. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any advertising email the Company sends
3. Write to contact@patty.io

Withdrawal is processed as soon as it is received, and the user is informed of the outcome. After withdrawal the user still receives the notices necessary to operate the service. See Article 6.

Withdrawal has no effect on the use of Mirr itself.

Article 6. Notices That Are Not Advertising

The following are necessary to provide the service and perform the contract and are not advertising. They are sent regardless of marketing consent and cannot be declined.

1. Registration and email verification
2. Notices relating to login and account security
3. Notices on password and account management
4. Notices relating to payment, subscription and refunds
5. Notices of service faults and security incidents
6. Notices of changes to the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and other key policies
7. The biennial consent confirmation described in Article 7
8. Other notices directly necessary for the user's use of the service

Article 7. Biennial Consent Confirmation

Under Article 50(8) of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection and Article 62-5 of its Enforcement Decree, the Company confirms the user's consent every two years from the date consent was given.

The confirmation notice includes the following.

1. The name of the sender
2. The date consent was given and what it covered
3. How to keep or withdraw that consent

If the user does not respond to the confirmation notice, consent remains in place. The user may withdraw it at any time afterwards by the means in Article 5.

The confirmation notice is not itself advertising and does not carry an advertising label in its subject line.

Article 8. Labelling of Advertising

Advertising the Company sends carries the following as applicable law requires.

1. An advertising label at the start of the subject line
2. The sender's name and contact details
3. How to unsubscribe or withdraw consent

Article 9. Changes to This Notice

1. The Company may change this notice in line with changes to applicable law or to how information is sent.
2. Where a change is unfavourable to users or is otherwise significant, notice is given before the effective date.
3. Where applicable law requires fresh consent, the Company obtains that consent rather than relying on the amendment of this notice alone.
4. Previous versions are retained and made available so that users can review them.
