Mirr Refund and Subscription Policy
Effective date: 1 September 2026
This Refund and Subscription Policy (the "Policy") sets out the terms governing subscription, payment, cancellation, withdrawal of subscription and refunds for the paid services of Mirr provided by Patty Co., Ltd. (the "Company").
Matters not addressed in this Policy are governed by the Mirr Terms of Service and applicable law.
This English text is a reference translation of the Korean original. If the two versions differ in meaning, the Korean version governs.
Chapter 1. Paid Services and Fees
Article 1. Paid Plans
- The Company may provide all or part of Mirr under a paid plan.
- The name of a paid plan, its fee, whether VAT is included, its term, the features provided, usage limits, billing cycle, payment instruments and renewal method are displayed on the checkout screen so that the user can review them before payment.
- The product and transaction conditions displayed on the checkout screen form part of the contract for that paid service.
Article 2. Usage Limits
- The usage limits and specific conditions of a paid plan follow what is displayed on the checkout screen.
- Where the Company describes a paid plan as "unlimited", this means that no separate volume-based charge is applied to normal personal or business use. It does not mean unlimited processing capacity or speed, or that the service will always be available to the same degree.
- Where necessary for the stability and security of the service and for fair use among users, the Company may temporarily adjust, within a reasonable scope, the processing speed of particular requests, the number of concurrent executions, automated requests or the use of particular features.
- Fraudulent use, use that creates abnormal or excessive load, circumvention of protective measures or of the usage and billing systems, and conduct that materially interferes with other users' normal use may result in restriction of use or termination under the Terms of Service.
- Where a usage limit or fair use standard is changed materially to users' disadvantage, the Company gives the advance notice required by applicable law and the Terms of Service.
Chapter 2. Payment and Recurring Subscription
Article 1. First Payment
- When a user subscribes to a paid plan, the fee shown on the checkout screen is charged.
- The paid service term begins when the first payment is completed successfully.
- The term of the paid service is one month from the payment date.
- The Company displays the following before payment so that the user can review them.
- Plan name
- Fee
- Whether VAT is included
- Principal features provided
- Usage limits
- Term
- Whether the payment recurs
- Billing cycle and the amount charged each cycle
- Next payment date
- How to cancel the subscription
- Key conditions for withdrawal of subscription and refunds
Article 2. Recurring Payment and Automatic Renewal
- A paid plan is a monthly recurring subscription.
- Unless the user cancels, the subscription renews automatically each month.
- The fee for each billing cycle is the amount displayed on the pre-payment screen or the subscription management screen.
- On the next payment date, the fee for the following month is charged automatically to the registered payment instrument.
- The next payment date is calculated each month from the first payment date. Where a month does not contain that day, or an adjustment is required by how the payment system processes charges, the charge may fall on the last day of that month or on the day shown on the checkout or subscription management screen.
- The user can check the next payment date before payment or on the subscription management screen.
- If a payment fails, the Company notifies the user of the failure and may retry the payment for a period of time or restrict use of the paid service.
Article 3. Payment Instruments
- Payments are processed through the electronic payment service provided by NICE Payments.
- The available payment instruments can be checked on the checkout screen at the time of payment.
- The types of payment instruments, their availability and how they are provided may change in accordance with the policies of NICE Payments and other payment service providers.
- Details of payment instruments such as card numbers are handled directly by NICE Payments and other payment service providers. The Company processes only the payment and transaction data described in the Privacy Policy.
Chapter 3. Cancelling a Subscription
Article 1. How to Cancel
- The user may cancel a recurring subscription at any time through the subscription management screen in the service or through another method the Company designates.
- Cancellation is processed by stopping automatic renewal for the next recurring payment.
- When the user completes a cancellation, the Company confirms the cancellation and the end date of the current term.
Article 2. Effect of Cancellation
- Cancelling during a term does not end use of the paid service immediately.
- The user may continue to use the paid plan until the end date of the one-month term already paid for.
- When the current term ends, the subscription ends and no further recurring payment is made.
- A user who wishes to use the paid service again may start a new subscription.
Article 3. Mid-Term Cancellation and Remaining Term
- Where a user cancels a recurring subscription during a term because of a change of mind, reduced use, or no longer needing the service, the term already paid for remains in effect.
- For an ordinary cancellation, the Company does not, as a general rule, provide pro rata calculation, partial refunds or refunds for the unused portion of the remaining term.
- The user may use the service until the end date of the term already paid for, and no further fee is charged from the next payment date onward.
- This Article does not limit any right of withdrawal, rescission, termination or refund granted to the user under applicable law.
Chapter 4. Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds
Article 1. Withdrawal Under Applicable Law
- A consumer may withdraw a subscription to the paid service within the period and on the conditions set out in the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable law.
- Where the supply of digital content or a service has begun, withdrawal may be restricted on the conditions set out in applicable law.
- Where the Company intends to restrict withdrawal under applicable law, it displays the information needed for the user to clearly understand that fact before payment and takes the measures that applicable law requires.
- Where a right of withdrawal exists under applicable law, that law prevails over the general restrictions on mid-term cancellation and refunds set out in this Policy.
Article 2. Refunds Attributable to the Company
In any of the following cases, the Company takes appropriate measures such as extending the term or refunding all or part of the fee, in accordance with applicable law, the Terms of Service and the specific circumstances.
- The paid service could not be used normally for a considerable period for reasons attributable to the Company.
- The service actually provided differs clearly from the service paid for.
- A duplicate payment occurred, or the Company made an error in processing a payment.
- A refund obligation otherwise arises under applicable law.
Article 3. Discrepancy With Advertising or Contract Terms
Where the service is provided differently from the advertising or from the terms of the contract at the time of purchase, the user may request withdrawal, rescission, termination or a refund within the period and by the procedure set out in applicable law.
Article 4. Refund Method
- Where a refund is granted, the Company refunds through the payment instrument the user used, as a general rule.
- Where a refund through the original payment instrument is impracticable, the Company may refund by another method agreed with the user.
- The Company carries out the refund procedure within the period set out in applicable law.
- Where payment was made by an electronic payment instrument, the Company requests cancellation or refund from NICE Payments or another payment service provider where necessary.
Article 5. Restriction of Use, Termination and Refunds
- Where the Company reasonably determines that any of the following applies, or has substantial grounds to suspect such a risk, it may temporarily restrict or suspend all or part of the paid service without advance notice, to the extent necessary to establish the facts and to protect the service, the Company, users or third parties.
- The user has breached applicable law, the Terms of Service, the conditions of their plan, or the operational and security guidelines posted in the service.
- The user accesses the service by means or interfaces other than those the Company provides or expressly permits, or uses a personal account or subscription in a manner the plan does not allow, such as automating, relaying, sharing or reselling it.
- The user circumvents or disables, or attempts to circumvent or disable, authentication, access control, safety measures, usage limits, execution limits or the payment and billing system.
- Account takeover, abnormal automation, mass requests, abnormal usage patterns or other activity causes or threatens to cause security, legal or operational risk, or harm to the Company or a third party.
- Action is required by applicable law, by a lawful request from a court, an investigative authority or another competent authority, or by a restriction imposed by a third-party provider necessary to deliver the service.
- The Company may review the relevant account information, usage records, conversations, user content and technical information, and retain the records needed, to the extent necessary for the investigation and response under paragraph 1. Specific processing of personal data follows the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- Where the investigation confirms, through logs, investigation results or other reasonable evidence, a serious breach falling under any of the following, the Company may continue to restrict use of the paid service or terminate the service agreement immediately.
- Unauthorised access to, intrusion into or attack on the service, an account, a system or a network, or malicious exploitation of a vulnerability
- Circumvention or disabling of protective measures, usage limits, or the payment and billing system
- Creation or distribution of malware, attacks on third-party systems, or other unlawful or harmful use
- Unauthorised sharing, transfer or resale of an account, unpermitted automation or relaying, or use that places excessive load on the service
- Repeated breaches of the terms, or failure to comply with a request to cure
- Other conduct that materially harms the safety and integrity of the service, the rights of the Company or a third party, or other users' normal use of the service
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company may inform the user of the principal grounds for a restriction or termination, or of the category of standard applied. However, it may withhold all or part of that detail where it reasonably determines that disclosure would fall under any of the following.
- It would make it easier to circumvent or evade detection criteria, security measures or internal systems.
- It would risk prejudicing an ongoing or planned investigation, the preservation of evidence, or the safety and integrity of the service.
- It would risk causing harm or additional security risk to the Company, users or third parties.
- It would risk breaching applicable law, a request from a competent authority, a confidentiality obligation or a third party's rights.
- Where use of the paid service is restricted or the service agreement is terminated because of a serious breach, the Company does not, to the extent permitted by applicable law, refund fees already paid or the remaining term.
- Paragraph 5 does not apply in any of the following cases.
- A right of withdrawal, rescission, termination or refund is granted to the user under applicable law.
- A refund obligation arises for reasons attributable to the Company.
- There was a duplicate payment, an erroneous payment, or a payment made without the user's proper authorisation.
- It is confirmed that the restriction or termination resulted from an error of judgement by the Company.
- A user may contest a restriction or termination through the official customer support channel. The Company may request identity verification, an explanation of the circumstances of use, or the submission of necessary materials in order to review the objection.
- Where the review confirms an error of judgement by the Company, the Company takes the necessary measures, such as lifting the restriction, extending the term or refunding in accordance with applicable law.
Chapter 5. Payment Dates and Fee Changes
Article 1. Next Payment Date
- The next payment date is calculated in accordance with Chapter 2, Article 2 of this Policy.
- Where a cancellation is completed before the next payment, no fee is charged on the next payment date.
- Where a user cancels after the next payment has been made, that cancellation applies from the following renewal as a general rule. This does not apply where a ground for withdrawal or refund exists under applicable law.
Article 2. Fee Changes
- The Company may change the fee for a paid service in line with changes to service operations or product policy.
- A fee change does not apply to a term already paid for.
- Where the Company intends to change the fee from the next renewal of a recurring subscription, it informs the user of the new amount and the date it takes effect in advance.
- Where the recurring charge is increased, or a service previously provided free of charge is converted to a paid recurring subscription, the Company gives notice of the necessary matters, including the date of the change, the fee before and after the change, the payment method and how to cancel or terminate the subscription, by the procedure and within the period set out in applicable law, and obtains the user's consent where applicable law requires it.
- Where a user does not consent to a fee change under applicable law or the procedure the Company provides, or cancels the subscription before renewal, the next recurring payment at the changed fee is not made.
Chapter 6. Miscellaneous
Article 1. Business Customers
Where the Company and a customer that is a corporation or other business entity enter into a separate order form, enterprise agreement or other contract, that individual contract prevails over this Policy as to fees, billing cycle, subscription period, cancellation and refunds.
Article 2. Changes to This Policy
- The Company may change this Policy in line with changes to applicable law, payment methods or service policy.
- Where a change is unfavourable to users or is otherwise significant, the Company gives advance notice by the method set out in applicable law and the Mirr Terms of Service.
- A changed Policy may apply to subscriptions newly entered into or renewed after the change, and is not applied retroactively to the disadvantage of the user for a term already paid for.
- Where applicable law requires the user's separate consent for a change, the Company obtains that consent.
Article 3. Enquiries
Enquiries about subscription, payment, cancellation or refunds may be submitted through the official customer support channel that the Company designates in Mirr or on the Company website.
