Terminal commands

Commands for starting Mirr Code, signing in, resuming conversations, and updating.

Basic commands#

Run these in your terminal, not in the Mirr Code input box.

CommandPurpose
mirrStart Mirr Code in the current folder.
mirr loginSign in with a Patty account.
mirr logoutSign out on this computer.
mirr --continueContinue the previous conversation.
mirr --resumeChoose a saved conversation.
mirr reviewReview uncommitted Git changes.
mirr upgradeInstall an official update.
mirr upgrade --checkCheck for updates without installing.
mirr --versionShow the installed version.
mirr --helpShow commands and options for the installed version.

Work in a project#

cd my-project
mirr

Replace my-project with your project folder. When the input box opens, enter your request.

Submit one request and receive the result#

Use -p to send a request without opening the conversation screen:

mirr -p "Explain how to run this project. Do not modify files."

Select JSON output when another program needs to process the result:

mirr -p --output-format json "Explain how to run this project. Do not modify files."

Output depends on the request and project. In automation, handle error output and exit codes too.

For / commands and keyboard controls inside Mirr Code, see Commands and shortcuts.
