Terminal and Korean-input problems
Check Korean typing, cursor placement, and unreadable file text by symptom.
Korean input is duplicated or the last character disappears#
Check whether the problem occurs only while composing a character or remains after the input is complete. Type the same sentence in a plain text editor and in Mirr Code to narrow down where it happens.
Update your terminal and operating-system input method, and check another terminal. For support, include the terminal, operating system, input method, and exact typing sequence.
The cursor or characters are misaligned#
Use a fixed-width font with Korean support and check the terminal's font and zoom settings. If another font or terminal works, include that difference in your report.
Note whether the issue occurs only in an editor's integrated terminal or a remote connection. You do not need to change project file contents to address a display problem.
Text in a file is unreadable#
The file may have been saved using a different character encoding. Older Korean files sometimes use EUC-KR or CP949.
Keep a copy of the original, then use your editor's encoding selection to find the format that displays it correctly. Do not overwrite the file in another encoding before inspecting its contents. You can give Mirr Code the filename and symptom and ask it to preserve the original while investigating.
A keyboard shortcut does not work#
Check whether your terminal or operating system uses the same key combination. If you are composing Korean text, finish the character before trying again. See Commands and shortcuts for Mirr Code controls.
For a recurring issue, contact support with the version and reproduction steps. Remove passwords and personal material from screenshots.
